28 Jul 2009 - Version 1.0 released

I've released the first version of CEProp. I've been using it myself since 2005, when I got frustrated by File Explorer's lack of both an "open with" command and file extensions. I recently polished it up, and here it is.

All Downloads

Several files are listed for each version, but you only need one of them. Choose the Desktop Installer if you have a PC with ActiveSync. Otherwise, download the Device CAB to your Windows Mobile device and open it there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which SDK did you use? Why won't the project file in the source code open with eVC4?

I use the eVC3 SDK for Pocket PC 2002 to compile nandhp CEProp, in order to allow greater compatibility with older versions of Windows Mobile. Unfortunately, it is no longer available from Microsoft. It should be possible to compile nandhp CEProp using eVC4 by creating a new project file. If you still want a copy of eVC3, you may be able to find it somewhere else on the internet. The download was called evt2002_web_min.exe. The product key it requires is the same as the one for eVC4.
